Today's country decorating idea of the day: pretty grater lantern(s)!
Cut down the glare of your candle lamps using a grater as it's shade~
-you may also use a christmas-village strand, and display many in a row, in a kitchen or anywhere!
They are 1$ each at the dollarstore, and look so very pretty.

Thank you, Pamela. You made me remember a restaurant that my parents used to take us to many years ago, they had these on the tables for little lights.
I'm so glad that you thought of it.
Hugs,
Susan
I love this idea! I can't wait for the next trip to town.

There you go again... being all creative and such, hehe! I've seen a few together with candles but I love the idea of a row of them with light sets. That would be so neat on top of my hutch! Thanks for the idea girl~
Good idea, but I would like to make it rusty. Any suggestions?. I'll look through your tutorials.

I like old graters! I have a bunch of them, I placed one in my old window cabinet, with one of those flameless candles. It is nice to look at from time to time!
Thanks for sharing.
Uh duh!! What a great idea! (Why can't I think of stuff like that on my own???) So glad there's a you for the me's out there. ;o) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Brilliant! (Pun intended)
If you have no spare box graters, bash holes in tin cans with a hammer and nail. Before bashing, fill the tin with water and freeze, to stop the tin from denting. But most of you already knew that.
Me gusta mucho lo que tu haces , eres muy talentosa !!!!Te felicito , desde Argentina .Vero
