Ah yes, the feather stitch~ for some reason, at the beginning, I had such a hard time with it, I don't know why, and It took me a lot of practice to get it.
So today I thought I would show you how to feather stitch; a beautiful way to embellish primitive crafts of the season- birds, strawberries, etc, You will love it so much, you'll want to feather stitch everything! LOL

thank you, it was just terrific!
Thank you for the tutorial..
Happy Easter..
I love how you teach...I am 57 and have been stitching for many years but this is so valuable for young women who haven't grown up with moms who taught them this kind of stuff. Thank-you for doing this.
Thank You for the tutorial, Pamela. I have always wanted to try this, but didn't know where to begin or how to start.
Great tutorial Pamela! Where were you when I was trying to teach myself how to do this years ago?? LOL - I love the feather stitch - but don't do it often enough so am constantly looking for a reference to "refresh" my memory when I do do it. Hope I remember this is here next time! (And love the little trick for the curves......) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
Thanks Pamela!!!

I used to do a lot of embroidery on medieval costuming, but the feather stitch remains one of my all time favorites.
Thanks Pamela for the tutorial! This is going to come in handy very soon..Mary
Thanks Pamela, that tutorial was awesome. I have seen the feather stitch but, I have never learned it. I love the look of it. It really gives your project a little extra something special. I am so anxious to try this now. I am already looking for a bird pattern so that I can try it today.
I love the tutorial. I'm going to look at this as an embellishment on some of my more traditional rag dolls.
I also loved the performance of Twinkle twinkle little star in the background. :))
Thank you so much Pamela for this wonderful tutorial. Never knew this stitch. Take care, Janice
