Pattern by Nathalie Melot, I highly recommend her patterns, and she offers excellent, speedy service.
I decided to drop by Fabricville, and get a couple of yards of true feather ticking; I have been busy making grunged pillows. There is nothing like the weight and stiffness of this fabric! Ticking makes me happy lol
Sometimes, just changing the direction of a kitchen table can create a whole new look.

I have started stencilling again, and I really like how this sign turned out.
Thanks for stopping by!

LOL Pamela, I change the direction of my table a couple times a year - simple change. Love your prims - it is good to make things for your home! ~*~Lisa

Wonderful new goodies for your home. It's funny when we create for others it seems we never do projects for ourselves anymore.Glad you took some time to bring a little joy to your home.Warm Blessings!~Amy
I love ticking too. We slept on old camp mattresses on my Me-ma's screened porch in the summer when I was a kid...ticking always makes me think of fireflies and telling ghost stories with cousins.

I love the font you used for the stencil...I also have a fondness for ticking and buy old feather pillows and make a huge mess getting the feathers out so i can clean the ticking fabric...after all that work and mess I never seem to find a project worthy of my vintage ticking...
Hi! Pam,
Your creations look very nice!
I just love the contrast of the wood color cabinet.... with white pieces. Looks great!

Hi Pamela! I am the same way, I keep selling everything and always think afterwards that I should have kept one. So with this last batch of ditty bags, I made one just for me lol.
Wonderfully prim stitchery, love it! Love those ticking pillows too, they look so much like the real old thing. Neat sign, love that saying. Yes, I just love it ALL, lol.
Wishing you a wonderfully blessed Easter weekend~
Wonderful touches Pamela - so soothing and serene, yet perfectly primitive. I adore that little stitchery - will have to track down her patterns as her name is new to me....but I see she commented here, so perhaps I can track her that way. (Someday I hope to find time to pick up my needle and thread again!) And I love the feedsack and ticking treasures....LOVE! Great table - I'm looking for a "new" (old) one - they're not easy to find here, and I need a specific size, or it won't fit (no turning tables here!) Great glimpses into your beautiful home. Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
