Patinas, Containers and Catch-all's- Frugal Country Decor

Very large vintage crate, with fabulous patina; original, blue/grey milk-paint, which cost 35$,is turned upside down, and is now my livingroom coffee table~
Large antique toolbox, which cost 25$, is now a farmhouse table catch-all, for herbs, antique crocks and tins.
Antique handmade basket(often seen holding wool), was 25$, in excellent condition (often times there is breakage, but this one is in tact)..there is nothing quite like a handmade basket, it's weight, stability, and also it's feel of sturdiness, that is not found in the baskets bought at the store today.
Now displays some of my favorite things~

Sweet finds!
Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes, I really appreciated it!
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you are enjoying Your summer~

I've been on an organizing kick lately...love the new stuff. Once I was at a thrift shop, sorting through baskets. One lady asked me what it was I was looking for, and I said "Sturdiness! I USE my baskets!" :~D
